Lego Airplane Set - The LEGO CITY theme is back with another passenger plane. This is #60262-1: Passenger plane. It was released on August 24, 2020 in the US for $99.99. It consists of 669 parts and has 9 subsections. It works out to $0.149 per piece. It sells for about 72 dollars domestically.
The last CITY passenger plane was launched in 2016. #60104-1: The passenger terminal can be viewed here. It has 694 pieces and 6 small pieces, but retails for the same price. Like this set, a small plane A small gate Includes some ground crew equipment and miniatures.

The front panel shows a complete set of small functions. It also shows the length of the aircraft (54 cm / 21.2 inches). The back panel offers casual playable features.

Each pack contains 9 ingredients. 7 numbered and 2 unnumbered pockets with large inside. It also includes the standard wing on the CITY kit. Instructions and stickers are included in the plastic packaging. Comes with 4 instruction booklets and a small sticker sheet.
Bag 1 red sports car with 4 wide studs. It comes with a Poppy Starr Minifigure. This minifigure is from a LEGO CITY TV show that I didn't even know existed. I'm not sure if I've seen this set or the car at the show. Anyone?
The construction of the car is not unusual, but it was designed to fit the aircraft of the future.
The second bag builds an airport car. This vehicle can tow a variety of equipment including ladders (later built) and ladders for transporting cars onto airplanes. While there is nothing special about the vehicle, It seems to fit small equipment vehicles or cargo ships around any airport in the world. You can easily create your own accessories to tow on this vehicle.

Trailers aren't hard to build; But I asked if my 6 year old could do as described on the box. Could it be with some help? The design can accommodate the built vehicle in the final bag and “lift” it. There's no mechanism to move cars into planes, but most 6-year-olds don't worry about that, so I think it's something you can build yourself.
Two small toys in this bag. One was an airport employee wearing a hard hat and ear protection. Another was a passenger wearing a Hawaiian shirt. He has a different large suitcase than the usual LEGO briefcase. This looks like a bag with wheels or something... without wheels.
Bag 3 built a small berth. I don't know why they put it in this series. I understand that the set is designed to be playable, but for me I'd rather see the terminal as a separate set. The aircraft can focus on the aircraft itself and some ground personnel. Then the set of terminals with the details can be a bit larger. At this gate, a small suitcase is packed on an 8x16 sheet; There are vending machines and check-in counters.
The building uses a roller coaster as the roof. I like the idea, But it looks like a cop out without making any effort to curl the roof. I think it would be easy for a 6 year old to install. There is also a small control tower with a radar dish. Like the CITY set, the Miniature needs to jump or climb, but I think it gets the job done.

A little doll in this bag. A woman with a black bag wearing a guitar shirt. A man wears a sling to carry a baby. a bottle An airport employee holds a baby and a cup of coffee. I love the idea of a baby carrier. Bonus points for the designer who came up with the piece.
Bag 4 begins to build the fuselage. Not much detail is available yet and a lot of BURP is used to get the same shape as previous CITY passenger planes. My favorite place is the cockpit. In addition, the hinge is printed for control. Mounted on movable steering column. It's just a bucket handle on the droid arm, but still has nice details.
This bag comes with two minifigures including a female pilot and a male flight attendant with cool silhouettes.
Bag 5 adds the standard wing section, along with some seat and wing details including wings and fins to hold the engine. I've seen some complaints about the lack of enough seating, but I think the interior is good enough to adjust as needed. Add in your own extra seating if you don't like the shape. It's just LEGO.

The sixth pocket is the windows in the cabin. A small bathroom was added on board and the construction of the cargo room began. A horizontal lift at the rear was also added.
Seven BURP bags to complete the top of the cabin; SAD tail with logo printed; Seven pockets complete the luggage compartment door and the engine with a small latch that flips up and holds in place. The engine isn't the only part, though. Instead, several cylinders are attached around it with stickers for the propeller. I don't understand the design. Is it better than the previous jet engine? Not sure if it gets any worse. In addition to the aircraft, Includes landing and take-off steps. There is no railing, but be careful.
There are nine dolls in total; Good selection of accessories. I want a copilot in the second seat in the cockpit; But we will take what we get.
That is all. if you ask me It fits the original CITY passenger jet set. Lots of playability; Interesting details and great miniatures. The number of parts has decreased slightly, but the price has remained the same. It's even better if you see it on sale as is. If you don't want parts or you don't have a CITY airport (or plan to build one like I do), this is not a great set for adults. It is convenient for children. My kids love cars and both of them love watching planes fly around.

What do you think about this? If you are an adult and hate CITY's airplane designs. I recommend watching the Big Planes YouTube channel. The builder here makes some amazing MOCs of actual aircraft and doesn't use BURP.
